Beyond Borders: 4EU+ Kursfinale in Warschau
From February 23–27, Warsaw hosted the final session of the interdisciplinary 4EU+ course "Urban Regulations & Urban Memories." Students from five partner universities—University of Warsaw, Charles University Prague, University of Milan, Heidelberg University, and Sorbonne University Paris—gathered to present their research and engage in intensive academic exchange.

The course was defined by open dialogue and critical reflection beyond borders, bridging diverse perspectives and methods from law, history, social sciences and geography. The event concluded with six group presentations, which impressively demonstrated how international teamwork can produce sound research results.

Beyond the formal sessions, the week provided valuable opportunities for connecting with colleagues and students from across the alliance. These informal exchanges are vital for strengthening the collaborative spirit within the 4EU+ network. Sincere thanks go to Karolina Wojciechowska for the exceptional organization and for hosting all students and staff so warmly throughout the week.

We are particularly proud of the three students from Heidelberg University who represented our institution. Their active contribution to the discussions alongside peers from across Europe underscored the immense value of embedding academic learning within an international dialogue.
