Nordamerika und Stadtgeographie Local Research

In addition to international perspectives on urban research, our research also focuses on local developments in Heidelberg. In projects on the conversion of brownfield sites, sustainable urban development, and increasing the attractiveness of the city center, the Urban Geography Working Group works closely with various stakeholders in the urban society to contribute to a just, sustainable, and livable Heidelberg.
