Dr. Nicole Aeschbach
Dr. Nicole Aeschbach (née Vollweiler) is a senior scientist in the GIScience and 3D Geospatial Processing Group (Prof. Dr. Bernhard Höfle) at the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University and heads the "TdLab Geography" (Transdisciplinarity Laboratory). After having served as executive director of the Heidelberg Center for the Environment (HCE) at Heidelberg University since 2011, she worked as coordinator at the Department of Environmental Systems Science at ETH Zurich from April to December 2017. In addition to her research and teaching at the Institute of Geography, Nicole works freelance for the mobility platform at ETH Zurich and develops concepts in the field of sustainable mobility. The recently launched "TdLab Geography" is an interdisciplinary platform at the interface between science and society at the Institute of Geography.
