Interdisciplinary Project on recent urban processes in the Global North and Global South from an interdisciplinary perspective. By using different methodologies (ethnographic research, quantitative analysis, interpretation of text and other materials) we try to understand urban development in different parts of the world. Our special regional expertise lies on India and Nepal, the US and Canada, as well as Germany.
Overarching goals of the project:
Invitation to a cosmopolitan gesture of urban research, introduction to comparative methods as well as the implemention of praxeological approaches.
