Caroline Walter
Caroline Walter is a research assistant at the urban geography working group and the coordinator of the research training group Authority and Trust in American Culture, Society, History, and Politics at the Heidelberg Center for American Studies (HCA). In May 2024, Caroline Walter received her Master's degree in urban geography at the Geography Department at Heidelberg University. For undergrad, she pursued American Studies at the Heidelberg Center for American Studies. She works as a freelance moderator (particularly for topics of regional planning, wind energy and children/youth participation) and is an active member of the AK Feministische Geographie at Heidelberg.
Research areas
Caroline Walter is particularly interested in matters of mobility research and qualitative methods. In her mobilities research her focus lies on mobility justice, accessibility and usability of various modes of transport by different social groups.
