Caleb Pan was a PhD Candidate visiting from the University of Montana’s Numerical Terradynamic Simulations Group (NTSG); his research interest is directed at the application of remote sensing to understand cryospheric processes (glaciers and snow). Caleb’s research is aimed at determining if rain-on-snow events are a potential driver for dzud events across Mongolia.
