Dr. Kathrin Foshag

Dr. Kathrin Foshag (née Leutz) is a researcher at TdLab Geography at the Department of Geography at Heidelberg University. Previously, she worked as a PostDoc researcher at the Institute of Environmental Physics. She completed her dissertation on "Climate Change in the Public Spaces of the City of Heidelberg. Transdisciplinary Challenges of Urban Spaces" at the Heidelberg School of Education (HSE) in 2018. Her research focusses on the analyses of socially relevant topics such as adaptation to climate change. In addition to being strongly grounded in natural sciences disciplines, the integration of expertise and perspectives of stakeholders outside academia into the research process plays a major role.
