Lin Zou joined the Department for Economic and Social Geography in January 2016. She studied at the East China Normal University in Shanghai, majoring in Human geography and minor in Regional economics and Methodology of regional study. During her studies, she worked as assistant for the Shanghai government in Urban and Regional designing projects such as the National project Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Research of Yangtze river delta based on the Development Strategy of Yangtze Economic Zone.


Her research focuses on economic geography, generally, and inter-firm network, in particular. Currently she works on the Inter-organizational knowledge network configuration of the Equipment manufacturing industry in China from a local-global aspect.
