Shasha Lin Research

Shasha Lin is an academic staff member in subproject B04 "A Place Called Home? Dynamics of Home in North American Neighborhoods." The ongoing project analyzes the diverse meanings of home, the practices of becoming at home, and the dynamics of home in immigrant neighborhoods in the United States. Since immigrants are confronted with uncertain living conditions and changing political frameworks regarding immigration and housing, it is interesting to examine how they create a sense of home under precarious circumstances.
