Issues on Pre-Training and Applications of Urban Mobility Foundation Models (Prof. Dr. Song Gao, University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA)
This talk will discuss issues on the pre-training and downstream tasks of Urban Mobility Foundation Models (UMFMs). Specifically, we need to consider multimodal mobility data and effective representation approaches, ensure model interpretability, and address geographical scale, biases, and location privacy issues.

GeoAI for Environmental Change: From Multimodality to Multitemporal Analysis (Prof. Dr. WenWen Li, Arizona State University, USA)
This talk will introduce our work on analyzing environmental change using multimodal geospatial data. I will demonstrate how we move from analyzing single satellite images to a multimodal setting and then to multitemporal analysis, enabling us to answer not only where environmental change is occurring but also when it began. 
I will also share applications of these GeoAI methods for near-real-time monitoring of Arctic environmental change and hazards as well as their impacts on local communities.
