I am a postdoctoral researcher and obtained my PhD in Environmental Health Sciences from Utrecht University, the Netherlands and was a visiting scholar at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. My research bridges geography and epidemiology, with a focus on sensing and mapping urban environmental exposures, including air pollution, noise, and heat, using mobile monitoring platforms and multisource data fusion approaches such as street-view imagery and GeoAI. I serve on the steering committee of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) Student and New Researchers Network and regularly participate in the annual meetings of the European Geosciences Union (EGU). I welcome opportunities to discuss research ideas and collaborations.
Forschungsschwerpunkte:
- Better understand the environment with GeoAI -> Hyperlocal air pollution, noise, and heat mapping.
- How environment impact human health -> Exposure assessment and environment epidemiology.
- How human reshape the environment -> Agent based modeling and natural experiments.
