Tabea Bork-Hüffer is a digital, social, and cultural geographer with a particular interest in how the entanglement of digital technologies in everyday lives affects social inclusion and exclusion, social sustainability, and well-being.

Before joining Heidelberg University in 2025, Tabea Bork-Hüffer was Professor of Human Geography at the University of Innsbruck (2018–2025). Previous stages of her career include a Visiting Professorship at the National University of Malaysia (02/2025), a Distinguished Visiting Fellowship at the University of Birmingham (08–09/2023), a Feodor Lynen Fellowship at the National University of Singapore (2013–2017), as well as teaching and research fellowships at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou (18 months between 2006 and 2012). She completed her PhD (2012) and habilitation (2018) at the University of Cologne.
