Economic Geography Group

Economic and Social Geography

Our group works on the spatial organization and development of regional and global economies. In our research, we focus on the institutions, networks and governance that drive geographies of knowledge and innovation, knowledge-based regional development and the dynamics of inter-organizational relations. Our teaching is research-oriented and contributes to undergraduate and graduate degrees, such as the MSc. Geography and the international MSc. Governance of Risks and Resources. Apart from covering the fields of economic geography and social and organizational theory, we offer quantitative and qualitative methods of social research, including social network analysis, regional analysis and qualitative content analysis.
